The Sonnet Thunderbolt 2 to Dual 10Gb Ethernet Adapter provides Mac hardware with Thunderbolt 2 a direct connection to 10Gb copper ethernet networks.
The adapter features two Thunderbolt connections which are each through-connected to individual copper ethernet (10GBase-T) ports on the other side of the device. Users can elect to use one or both connections.
The Sonnet Thunderbolt 2 to Dual 10Gb Ethernet Adapter is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 via use of an adapter – All Thunderbolt standards exceed the 10Gbps of the 10GBase-T ethernet so performance is consistent regardless of Thunderbolt generation. The Sonnet Thunderbolt 2 to Dual 10Gb Ethernet Adapter is also compatible with any hardware with Thunderbolt 2 or above so is not restricted to mac use only.
